If you've ever had any trouble with stitches that drop from your work when it's in a project bag, here's the tutorial for you! :)
So how I did it was like this:
1. Cut two rectangular pieces of a fabric that the knitting needles will not be able to poke through.
2. Sew the rectangles so that there is a fold - it creates this kind of a pocket. Leave a flap to the open end, so it will be easier to attach the elastic band to it.
3. Measure the elastic band, so that it is a bit tight holding the ends of the knitting needles. Then attach the elastic to both of the rectangles flaps using a zig zag stitch. You're done! :)
This is a great little gift for the knitter in your life - and it's almost Christmas as well!
Thank you for stopping by, don't forget to DIY! :)
