Embroidering a patch

Posted by Laura 21/04/2017 0 Comment(s) Embroidery,

I love Veronica Varlow, and the idea of Veronica's Kissing Army. So again, I made a patch on VKA. I have made one before, but can't find a picture of it. This time I made it with lips that are being bitten, so when I started digitizing on top of a photograph, I knew that it COULD go horribly wrong. Thankfully it didn't and I have an embroidery to prove it. The VKA badge is a free download on this site and the bit lip is 1,5 euros and comes in two sizes. The digitized downloads are ZIP files with DST (Tajima), HUS (Husqvarna), JEF (Janome) and PES (Brother) embroidery files. If you need some other embroidery file format, please just let me know! :) I tried including every one I knew right off the bat, without saving the embroidery in a dozen different formats.

Here's a tutorial on how to embroider this kind of an embroidery on your machine.

Thank you for stopping by, don't forget to DIY! :)
