I had trouble fitting all of my roller derby stuff into my bag, so I made a new one! I had all the materials lying around, so why not?
Here's what you'll need:
Start by measuring these pieces onto a fabric:
Cut the pieces out and then either serge the edges if you have a serger or use a zig zag stitch to make the edges neat.
Then sew the pocket pieces like shown:
After that, take the two longest pieces and attach the zipper.
When you have the top part sewn together, attach the pockets that will be at the ends of the bag. Sew them from the outer edges, and leave the previously finished top edge open, so it will become a real pocket.
After that, add the side pockets to the larger piece. Make the straps and use them to attach the pockets.
After that the two pieces are ready to be sewn together. Remember to put your stitch length low, I had mine on the setting "2". This way the bag is less likely to fall apart ;D
Remember to leave the zipper open. After you have pinned the pieces together by their edges, just sew the bag and turn it inside out - or right side out ;) Then you'll have a really nice, big bag for all your stuff! :)
Here's the video tutorial:
I made a sticker a few weeks back, when I made this bag. It is made with Silhouette Cameo. You'll need the Silhouette Cameo, Silhouette Studio software, a cutting mat and black, white and red vinyl. I found the image for the sticker online in Google image search.
Thank you for stopping by, don't forget to DIY! :)
