Beanie tutorial

Posted by Laura 28/09/2017 0 Comment(s) Sewing,

This time I'll show you how to sew a beanie.

First, you make a pattern for it. This is the pattern I drew a few years ago, and the one I'm using.

Then you'll need to cut up your fabric. Remember, the middle dotted line in the pattern is a fold!

Then you just sew up the beanie. First you sew the seams that will be left on the sides.

Then you'll just sew the beanie together, leaving an opening, so you can pull the beanie inside out and all the seams will be neatly tucked away on the inside.

And when you've pulled the beanie right side out, just sew up the seam that is left open and put half of the beanie inside itself, so that it is twice the thickness.

Well, that's it for today! Thank you for stopping by, don't forget to DIY! :)
